Preschool and children's ministries

At First Baptist, we celebrate each child as a gift from God and offer a loving and caring environment. Our passion is to nurture each child's faith as they come to KNOW Christ, GROW in their faith, and learn to SHOW Christ's love to others. This ministry also seeks to support and encourage parents and guardians who have the blessing and responsibility of raising children.
Preschool
The First Baptist preschool ministry serves children from birth through kindergarten and their families. FBC provides a nurturing environment where each child begins to learn about God's love through Bible stories, songs and play. These opportunities led by caring and loving adults build a spiritual foundation that will lead them to deeper learning and understanding.
Weekday Early Education (WEE)
Weekday Early Education (WEE) is a weekday ministry to preschoolers three months of age and older and their parents. WEE meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM from September – May with the same holidays and breaks taken by Caddo Parish schools.
Children
FBC offers many opportunities for children in grades 1 – 5 to learn about God's love through Bible study, music and missions and camps and special events. We do not feel that children are just to be seen and not heard. In fact, children have an important place at FBC as participants and leaders in worship. Our desire is to introduce children to God's love and lay a foundation for them to accept Jesus Christ as Savior at the time when God's Spirit leads him or her to do so and to prepare them for lives of service.
